Drummer Cory Cox is a 2006 graduate from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas has been playing the drums since he was nine.



Cory Cox was a member of the 2006 Gibson/Baldwin Grammy Jazz Ensemble and the 2006 Texas Music Educators Association All-State Jazz Ensemble.



Cory Cox was a member of the prestigious Dave Brubeck Institute, where he completed his first two years of college.



Cory Cox is currently in his senior year at The New School University, where he's pursuing a degree in music. He has had the opportunity to study and share the stage with Keith Sanders, Sebastian Whittaker, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Eric Harland, Michael Carvin, Jorge Rossy, Freddie Hubbard, Nicholas Payton, Roy Hargrove, Christian McBride, Bob Hurst, Miguel Zenon, Joshua Redman, Kirk Whalum, John Ellis, Robert Glasper and more.
