Claudia "Killer" Lippmann was born in Chemnitz. At the age of fourteen, she got her first drum and percussion instruction. Her first band experience was as a percussionist.
Claudia Lippmann toured home and abroad with elektropunkband XPQ-21 and then decided to dedicate herself completely to drumming.
She received drum lessons from Jan Rohlfing, Andi Gillmann, Eric Harings, Hans in 't Zandt, Boris Ehlers, Daniel Knop, Manni van Bohr, Ulf Stricker and Phil Maturano. She got percussion lessons from Martin Zieburg, Martin Hesselbach and Poncho Valdes.
Claudia recently graduated cum laude from the Drummer’s Institute, where she is curently active teaching.
Claudia Lippmann's current bands and projects include The Substyle, The Rebels (the group of actor Claude Oliver Rudolph), Radio Swan, Carmen Brown, and Olivera. She's also stand-in drummer for Lily of the Valley, and Down Home Bluesband.
Previously she played with Höröya Kan (2001-2007), X-Zess (2005-2007), Groove Junkies (2006-2007), and Psychotop.
Claudia Lippmann plays djembé, congas and timbales among other percussion instrumens. As a drummer her 'weapon of choise' is the new Ddrum Dios M Serie in Player configuration.
