Drummer Ciro Palma co-founded Dutch death metal band Xenomorph in 1994.
Previously Palma had played with Dissect.
Xenomorph gained quite some success in the underground thanks to a couple of popular demos: 1994's "Carnificated Dreams" and 1995's "Passion Dance".
In 1996 both demos were compiled and released on one CD via Teutonic Existence.
Soon after Ciro Palma parted ways with the band. Following various personnel upheavals a retooled formation of Xenomorph resurfaced with the "Promo 98" demo, followed by an official release: "Baneful Stealth Desire" (System Shock, 2001).
Ciro Palma also played drums in Within Temptation. He joined the band in 1998, replacing Ivar de Graaf. The next year, drummer Ivar de Graaf rejoined the band and Ciro Palma was exit.
