Christian Nyqvist is perhaps better known as Preternatural Transmogrifyer, drummer in Swedish Lost Horizon. Nyqvist joined the band in 1992, when band members Wojtek Lisicki, Martin Furängen, Michael Niklasson and Joacim Cans had been operating under the name of Highlander since 1990 (Joacim Cans would depart in 1995 and become famous as Hammerfall frontman).



The band, still known as Highlander, was put to rest in 1995. In 1998 the band was reformed once again and after a while they signed a record contract with Music For Nations. They found out that there was a German band with that name that had already released six albums and therefore they changed their name to Lost Horizon after weeks of discussions.
