Chris Dupont was the original drummer in Providence, Rhode Island death metallers Vital Remains when they started in 1989.



After the recording of their first demo (within the same year), "Reduced to Ashes', Dupont was replaced by Ace Alonzo though this first effort sold some 500 copies in two weeks.
