Drummer Charlie Walker joined Gavin Rossdale, former vocalist of British rock band Bush, in his new band Institute.



Other members consist of guitarist Chris Traynor (Helmet, Orange 9mm) and bassist Cache Tolman (Rival Schools, CIV).



Notably, their 2005 debut album "Distort Yourself" was produced and guided by Helmet's main-man, Page Hamilton.



Indiana native Charlie Walker played

drums in both Split Lip and Chamberlain before moving to New York. He is also known as drummer with Bad Moon Music, New End Original and SkullFuzz.



Walker joined forces with Sergio Vega, former bass player for Quicksand, and formed a new band called Champions Of Sound in 2003.
