Drummer Charles Mena is born in Nicaragua, but grew up in New York. He married a Norwegian playwriter and they became the parents of singer/songwriter/performer Maria Mena.



Charles Mena currently lives in Oslo, Norway. He performs with Banjo Mosele, Mari Kohinoor, Meduza, and Kay Irgens among others.
