Drummer Cary LaScala joined allstar pop punk band Jackson United, featuring members of Foo Fighters, Face To Face and Viva Death, in 2004. LaScala is currently drumming in Bellavista and The Frail.
He started playing drums at the age of twelve. As a drummer, Cary has played, toured and recorded with numerous bands and artists, including Vue (RCA Records), Jackson United (Bad News Records), Communique (Lookout! Records), Todd and Toby Pipes (Deep Blue Something/Bass Propulsion Laboratories), Har Mar Superstar, Face to Face (Vagrant Records), Jeremy Willer, Davy Vain (Producer/Assistant Engineer-Pro Tools for Christina Aguilera etc.), Greater Good (Atlantic Records), This is a Test, The Strays (TVT Records), Chad Blinman (Producer: Viva Death etc), Redscare, Boyskout, Heart of Snow (GSL Records), and Jeff Sultzman (producer of The Killers "Hot Fuss" etc).
Cary LaScala has toured the United States, Australia, Japan, Ireland, Canada, United Kingdom, and Scotland, and played on major music festivals such as BFD (Shoreline, SF, California), Oxygen Festival (Scotland), Redding Festival (United Kingdom), T in the Park (Dublin, IR), Siren Festival (NY), CMJ (NY), and SXSW (TX).
In February 2008 Cary LaScala became officially endorser of Ludwig drums.
