Cameron MacIntosh was the initial drummer in Still Remains. In August 2004 he departed and was followed up by AJ Barrette. The band stated:

"MacIntosh's decision came as a shock to us even though some of us could feel it coming. It's hard to get into the details, but he had been feeling more and more that it was time to move on and not hold us back from the plans we so eagerly are working hard to achieve."

Cameron MacIntosh went back to Columbia High School. He toured with the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra in 2012. In 2011 Cameron also was accepted by another nationally acclaimed program, the Grammy Band.
