Brian Davison was boorn in Leicester, UK on May 25, 1942. He is probably best known as drummer with The Nice, the band fronted by Keith Emerson.
After The Nice split and Emerson went on to form ELP, Brian Davison remained in Refugee, an underexposed keyboard trio with Patrick Moraz on keys.
After one album Brian went on to form his own jazz outfit, called Every Which Way. In the late 70’s his exposure became very sparse until Emerson reformed the Nice in 2002/2003 and played some London shows.
Brian Davison died on April 15, 2008 at the age of 65 in Dorset after a battle with cancer.
