Andy Theakstone has played around the world as a session drummer since 2006 - most notably with Get Cape Wear Cape Fly. Paolo Nutini, Liam Bailey, Amadou and Miriam and Py.



You can hear his playing on every Get Cape Wear Cape Fly record since the debut album, Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager released on Atlantic records. His involvement in the Africa Express concerts, curated by Damon Albarn, has seen him perform with musicians from around the world including Baaba Maal, Amadou and Miriam and Flea, bassist with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
