Berlin-based Andy Schumacher has played in various bands, the current one being Toxic Lies. He joined Skew Siskin as a session drummer for the Le Mans show in April 2005.



Andy Schumacher started playing drums in 1974, at the age of twelve. In APril 1982 he starts to study at the Swiss Jazz School in Bern, Switzerland.



Many bands and acts followed, cinluding Eat Amps Alive, N'deez Soul, Pitchwork, Cecile Verny and Bernd Heitzler.



Andy Schumacher has played with Cecile Verny, Karen Bella, Barbara Bowland, Rhonda Smith (known as bassist with Prince), guitarist Kat Dyson (who has worked with Prince, Cyndi Lauper and Mick Jagger among others), Cecile Solin and Joe Cocker. Schumacher is also founder and teacher at the Drumfactory in Berlin.
