'Ace' Alonzo played drums in Vital Remains. He joined the band after the 1989 demo "Reduced To Ashes", which featured original drummer Chris Dupont.



Alonzo was first featured on a further demo tape entitled "Excruciating Pain". A 7" single for French label Thrash ‘Black Mass’ followed and signaled a deal with British label Peaceville Records.



However, on the 1995 album "Into Cold Darkness" Vital Remains featuerd drummer Rick Corbett.
