Toontrack has released a new expansion pack for Superior Drummer 2.0. \'New York Studios - Volume 2\' is a collection of drum samples recorded at two famous studios in New York, Hit Factory and Allaire Studios.

For its new expansion pack Toontrack assembled some of the best talents in the industry to record the drum samples, including drummer Nir Z (Genesis, John Mayer, Joss Stone and Chris Cornell).
Engineer Pat Thrall (Glenn Hughes, Black Crowes, Beyoncé etc), who was also producing along with Neil Dorfsman (Kiss, Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits and Sting).
The recordings have some vintage gear like a 1930s Ludwig snare and a 1940s Black Beauty snare. There are also some Ludwig vintage 1960s toms, as well as Gretsch, Slingerland, Sabian and Rogers kit pieces as well.
\'New York Studios - Volume 2\' costs $179 and requires Superior Drummer 2.0 to be installed.
