Will Hunt is Evanescence's new drummer Ex-drummer selling his gold and platinum discs on eBay Will Hunt new Evanescence drummer Will Hunt, former drummer of Skrape and Tommy Lee among others, has joined Evanescence. Hunt is replacing William "Rocky" Gray, who departed less than two weeks ago. Evanescence also welcomes a new guitarist: Troy McLawhorn (ex-Double Drive). Both Hunt and McLawhorn currently play in Dark New Day.

According to Dark New Day guitarist Clint Lowery, who is currently playing with Korn, the group will not split-up. Says Lowery:
"As you may have heard Will [Hunt] and Troy [McLawhorn] are going out with Evanescence. And you've heard I'm going out with Korn this year. I'm here to say Dark New Day will live on. We recorded some great material recently with Dave Bendeth and I just met with my A&R guy at our label. All of us are gonna be off in September after Family Values and we will record our record then. The great thing is I'll be out there with Troy and Will and we can continue writing with them for the new record."

While Evanescence's new line-up is making their live debut tonight, May 19 at Columbus' sold out Rock On the Range festival, the group's former sticksman Rocky Gray is auctioning several gold and platinum Evanescence plaques via eBay. You can watch the full list of items and make a bid here.
