Exploited singer suffers heart attack on stage British punk legends forced to cancel tour British punk legends The Exploited, featuring Willie Buchan on drums, are forced to cancel upcoming tour dates and stop all activities till May 2014 after Willie's brother and lead singer Wattie Buchan (57) suffered a heart attack on stage.

The incident happened during the band's concert on Thursday, February 13 in Lisbon, Portugal. A fan-filmed video clip shot during the gig shows Wattie in visible discomfort until Willie announced that the band would have to cut the concert short due to the singer's physical problems:

Wattie's illness comes a week into the seven-month 'Tour of Chaos' with Hatebreed and Napalm Death.

The Exploited, who signed to Nuclear Blast earlier this year, have released the following statement:

"We are sorry to say that due to a severe illness that Wattie can't continue with the tour. He will be in hospital for at least a week. Thanks for all the get-well messages. Much appreciated. Regards."
