U2 drummer to appear on The Cleveland Show Larry Mullen Jr. lands TV cartoon gig Larry Mullen Jr. lands TV cartoon gig: U2 drummer to appear on The Cleveland Show U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr. has agreed to appear repeatedly and provide his voice for the second season of The Cleveland Show, Fox Network's Family Guy spin-off cartoon series. Larry will voice two characters: a mobster and a "lame Elvis impersonator".

The drummer will be recording his parts at his studio in Dublin, Ireland.

It isn’t Larry's first time getting animated for a Fox cartoon. Yellow, four-fingered versions of the drummer and his U2 bandmates appeared on The Simpsons in 1998.

Outside of Larry Mullen Jr., other music stars have signed on for guest spots on The Cleveland Show. Kanye West, Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am, rapper T-Pain and film director David Lynch have also signed on for a role.
