Derek Kerswill on tour with Unearth Seemless drummer switches places with Gene Hoglan Derek Kerswill on tour with Unearth Derek Kerswill, drummer of Massachusetts rock band Seemless, is taking on drumming duties during Unearth's European summer tour including festivals such as Festimad in Spain and With Full Force in Germany.

Kerswill will also be hitting the skins in July during Unearth's US dates with Shai Hulud and The Destro. Kerswill is switching places with Gene Hoglan.

Hoglan recently finished the group's extensive tour with Dimmu Borgir, DevilDriver and Kataklysm. He will be back in the saddle to help Unearth out on their New Zealand, Australian and Alaskan headlining tour during July and August. Comments Unearth frontman Trevor Phipps:
"All of us in Unearth are grateful and feel blessed that both Gene [Hoglan] and Derek [Kerswill] are willing to move around their own busy schedules and professional lives to help us out on the road. They are both great people and killer musicians. Nothing is lost with our energy or show with either of these guys behind the kit. We wouldn't take the stage unless we stood 100% behind our show and these two guys have been simply stellar."

When the dust settles after Unearth's busy summer of touring, the group will announce how they will solve their vacant drummer position.
