The Netherlands
Solo Artist
Shirma Rouse (born March 13th 1980) is a singers singer. Music is the air that she breathes. Raised in a household with music as the center piece it was inevitable that music would be Shirma’s passion.

Although Shirma has already built up a impressive career (singing a.o. with Anouk, Chaka Khan, Michael Bolton, Metropole Orchestra, Candy Dulfer, Glennis Grace and Alain Clark) in the past years. Her successful participation in the Voice of Holland 2013 opened doors to a bigger audience for her as a solo artist. Shirma made it to the semi-finals of the popular tv-program.

Besides that, Shirma is slowly but surely gaining a large fan base outside The Netherlands, with a recent record deal in Japan for the second time.

Shirma’s 3rd album Shout it Out Loud marks the beginning of a new musical season for Shirma. After her debut “Chocolate Coated Dreams” (2010) and her tribute to Aretha Franklin “Shirma Rouse Sings Aretha” (2012), Shirma raises the bar once more with this album. Shout it OUt Loud is an album filled with songs about life situations. All from Shirma’s pen. It will make you smile, cry and hopefully laugh and dance a little.

It is not only her amazing voice but also her generous personality that makes Shirma stand out. If you do not yet know Shirma and her incredible voice, make sure you get to know her now! She is music you have to experience.
