The first Sonor Days Festival in 2010 was a direct success for the first edition of a Sonor festival in 135 years.

Two days of Rhythm and Music - more than 5,000 Visitors witnessed the first SONOR Days Festival hosted May 29 & 30, 2010.

The program offered a vast variety of Performances and Masterclasses of international renowned Artists:
  • Gavin Harrison (Great Britain, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson)
  • Dave Langguth (Canada, Nelly Furtado)
  • Benny Greb (Germany, Stoppok)
  • Carl-Orff-Ensemble (Germany)
  • Ritmo Del Mundo, Drum und Percussion Trio with Stephan Emig, Néne Vásquez and Rodrigo Rodriguez (Germany / Venezuela / Colombia)
  • Wolfgang Schmitz (Germany, Orff Education)
  • Robert Brenner (Germany, German Army Music Education Corps)
  • Jörg Lesch (Germany, German Army Music Education Corps)


The Saturday was finished by one of Germany’s most successful AC/DC Coverbands „Jailbreaker“. Besides the possibility to test instruments out of our product ranges Education, Drums, Marching and Percussion. Another highlight by far where the offered factory tours, enjoyed by hundreds of visitors.

A high number of foreign visitors showed that the festival was truly an international get-together of SONOR fans. Visitors from North America to Japan, as well as all parts of Europe visited Europe’s unique festival.
