After the huge success of Meinl's 2005 Drum Festival, the second Meinl Drum Festival took place on Saturday, September 09, 2006.

Held on Meinl's premises in Gutenstetten, Germany, a variety of national and international Meinl artists were present to demonstrate their outstanding drumming skills to a huge crowd.

Drummers and percussionist featured on the Meinl Drum Festivals include Shauney Baby, Mike Terrana, Johnny Rabb, Phil Maturano + Roland Peil, Ron van Stratum (ind.) + Amel Serra, Thomas Lang, Peter Wrba + Stefan Maass, Benny Greb, Jason Bittner, Rodney Holmes, and Felix Lehrmann.
