Originally introduced at the 1992 NAMM show, and twice nominated for "Best Acoustic Drum", Page Drums are the only totally resonant drum on the market. David Page has created a drum with absolutely no hardware attached or drilled into the shell. This concept completely eliminates any rattling or buzzing sounds. In addition, each drum can be hand tuned by adjusting a single attached key, reducing tuning time and creating a perfect tone by equally tuning the top and bottom heads of the drum. This also allows a drummer to make instant pitch changes while they play. Also introduced is our new Spur Mounting System, whereby spurs are attached to the kick drum hoop, rather than its shell. For the first time ever, when used with a rack system, the kick drum itself is now fully resonant, free of all hardware.
Page Drums are endorsed by professional drummers and producers internationally. Randy Waldman, of L.A.’s Zebra studios, (Barbara Streisand, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston & many more) claims that "Page Drums are the most unique and innovative design on the market today. The studio sound is incomparable."
Page drums are played by Evelyn Glennie, Europe's most celebrated percussionist, and by the world's top drummers. Page Drums are now being played in the London show "Cats" and "Phantom of the Opera". Record, film and TV credits include: "That thing you do" "Back to the Future", etc.
Each Page Drum is independently hand-crafted, made from the finest maple shells and hardware, stained or covered, and sized entirely to your specifications. The look of Page Drums is both classic, and uniquely your own.
A tradition of fine design and craftsmanship meets the cutting edge of technology and innovation in a new era of drum making.
