Siggi Baldursson, was drummer in The Sugarcubes - the band featuring Björk on vocals. He was born as Sigtryggur Baldursson on October 2, 1962 in Reykjavík, Iceland.



Baldursson started playing drums in his first band in 1980: Þeyr. He continued playing with KUKL, before ending up in The Sugarcubes.



Siggi Baldursson has been a longtime fixture on the Icelandic punk and alternative music scene. Other bands he has played include Icelandic Ancestry, with Type O Negative frontman Peter Steele, and Bradley Fish.
